Volunteers are needed from Monday, October 16th through Sunday, November 5th, 2006. No experience working with balloons or balloon decor is necessary to help out on the project, but enthusiasm and energy are a MUST! It is important to schedule your volunteer times given the nature of our construction schedule, so please call (513) 761-2602 to arrange your volunteer schedule in advance. We cannot accept walk-in volunteers without advanced notice! BalloonTown USA cannot exist without the help of professional volunteers who are willing to donate their time and efforts to help create this family-friendly event. In 2006, we are proud to announce that there are special benefits available to professional volunteers willing to travel to Cincinnati to work on Farmer Floyd's a-Floatin' Farm: FREE shuttle transportation to and from Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport FREE meals and snacks provided from November 1 through November 5, 2006 FREE hotel accomodations from October 31 through November 8, 2006* FREE event t-shirt *Complimentary hotel accomodations are limited in number. Call (513) 761-2602 to confirm availability before you sign up. Please note that there are special restrictions which apply: 1. Qualified volunteers must be professional balloon decorators or entertainers in their respective communities. 2. Professional volunteers eligible for hotel accomodations must be traveling from outside a 50-mile radius of Cincinnati. 3. Shuttle transportation from Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport is available on Tuesday, October 31st and Wednesday, November 1st, 2006. We cannot guarantee transportation to or from CVG from Wednesday, November 1st through Saturday, November 4th. Return shuttle transportation to CVG is guaranteed on Sunday, November 5th and Monday, November 6th. 4. Accomodations for professional volunteers are on a first reserved / first served basis. A security deposit of $35 is required to reserve a hotel space and is limited to ten (10) decorators and ten (10) entertainers, so reserve your space today. |
